In continuation of my Black History Month homage, the next woman that I had to recognize is the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll, Tina Turner! A few years ago, I was blessed to see her in concert and it was an experience like no other!

Tina Turner is the epidimy of stregnth and beauty in one package! From her small begginings, through the abuse, and into her triumph, and now to her legendary status, Tina Turner is Simply the BEST!

In recognition of Black History Month, I thought I'd pay homage to all of the black women in the entertainment industry that inspire me.

Of course I HAD to start with Naomi Campbell! She is definitely a true inspiration! When I started modeling, I was introduced to her work by my manager and stylist, Kimberly Steward. Looking at her images was like looking into a future of infinite possibilities. She showed me what is was to be a carefree and creative commodity. She is beautifully stunning, timeless, and has paved the way for many models to come after her.

One of my first nude photo shoots was a tribute to Naomi as you can see below. The photo was shot by Mikey Boy of Milwaukee, WI. I was totally nervous, but it is a photo that I am most proud of today!
